The Roundhouse, Camden, London,UK

The Roundhouse is definitely one of my favourite venues I’ve played . I’ve done two gigs there over the years and both had their own vibe, but equally brilliant.

The first was a private event for Wella, hosted by Reggie Yates, with a full live set from Noisettes. The crowd was buzzing, full of energy. I came on for the afterparty from 11 till 1am and just let it roll.

The second time was for Motor Sport Magazine’s F1 Hall of Fame Awards. A totally different kind of night, but still such a great atmosphere. The room was full of legends like Damon Hill, Eddie Jordan, Stirling Moss and the vibe was spot on.

Both events had something in common though the crowd. Fashion-conscious, glamorous, and properly up for it in their own way. Whether it was the high-end industry energy of the Wella crew or the slick F1 world, the people brought real style to the night.

For the Motorsport event, I went with a soulful deep house set - warm, low-slung grooves that just sounded incredible in the space. The Roundhouse is one of those venues where everything sits right, the sound, the lights, the energy it all connects.

Definitely one of those gigs you hold onto.
